Erin Lundrigan of Host Grande Meadows Golf Club won her 3rd straight Junior Ladies title on Friday with an easy win over clubmate Catherine Kenway.
Lundrigan shot rounds of 90-85-84-85 for a 4 day total of 344 while runner-up Kenway fired 87-91-89-94 for 361. Gander Golf Club’s Taylor Marsh took third team with rounds of 86-103-98-103 for 390 well back of the two golfers from Grande Meadows. Rounding out the top four girls at Grande Meadows was Kathy Lee Doyle from the Glendenning Golf Club, who will join Erin, Catherine and Taylor on her first provincial girl’s team, which will travel to the Hampton Golf Club in Hampton, NB for the 2009 RCGA Junior Canadian Girl’s Championship.
Also participating in the provincials from Grande Meadows were Deanna Moulton and Heather Drake who finished 5th and 7th respectively.

Golf is being included in the Canada Summer Games for the first time in history, when the games take place in PEI in August, being played at the Brudenell Golf Club.
Lundrigan, Kenway and Marsh look to be on the Summer Games team which hasn’t been officially announced by coaches Jim Stick and Katie Williams.
