\n\t""<\/a>Grande Meadows Men’s Night<\/strong> held the finale for another successful season on Saturday October 1. The Men’s Night committee pictured on the left consists of Edmund Antle, John Bugden, Ray Walsh and Ches Cribb and  are to be congratulated for organizing an event which is gaining in popularity and numbers each golfing season.<\/p>\n

\n

\n\t""<\/a>Twenty-seven golfers turned out for the finale which began at 10:30am with a team 9 Hole Best Ball followed by 9 Hole of individual stroke play. There were prizes to be won on each hole for having longest drive, closest to the pin ,etc.  At the conclusion of the golf there were several contests including putting and chipping on the practice green while there was a wedge contest on the driving range. Winners were declared in all events.  See the table below.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe winners of the individual play with score closest to 80 were Barry Stacey and Deon Walsh with a score of 78.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe winners of the individual play with score closest to 90 were Ches Cribb and Art Cluett with a score of 90.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNorm Croucher Award Winner<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe winner of the Norm Croucher Award for Sportsmanship on Men’s Night was presented to IBarry Stacey. The Award was named in memory of Norm Croucher, a big supporter of the Grande Meadows Men’s Night who passed away last year. The award is voted on by the golfers and will be presented each year in memory of Norm. Stacey was presented the award by Men's Committee Chairman Ray Walsh.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n
