\n\t""<\/a>Gary Smith captured the 2018 Grande Meadows Match Play championship by defeating Bob Banfield 2 & 1 in the final match. In his opening round match Smith got by Eric Ayers 2 & 1 before defeating Kevin Carvery 4 & 3 to advance to the final match with Banfield. Banfield advanced in the opening round with an extra hole win over Stan McCarthy and got by Richard Kelly 2 UP to advance to the final with Smith.<\/p>\n

Stone reached the finals by getting by Paul Hartson 3 & 2 in his opening match before defeating Eric Ayers 3 & 2 to advance to the consolation final while McCarthy defeated John Bugden 2 UP to advance directly to the Consolation final.<\/p>\n
