Update on Opening<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For your information Grande Meadows will be officially opening on Saturday May 15th. However, the course is in excellent shape and therefore the Board of Directors has decided to open on May 1st but with certain restrictions as this early opening has financial implications which were not included in annual budget approved at the AGM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tee Times<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday & Sunday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course will be open to the General Public on May 1st<\/sup> as well with green fees for 9 Holes costing $15.00 and for 18 Holes $30.00 which includes HST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Driving Range will be open from 1:00pm to 7:00pm on April 29th<\/sup> and April 30th<\/sup> for those who would like to hit some balls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tee times for members may be booked beginning April 29th<\/sup> at 1:00pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership Dues<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Letters have gone out to last years members soliciting your support again this year. The Board of Directors is asking that members pay up the membership fees before the end of April in the hope that it will allow us to take advantage of some government funding. As an incentive for those who sign up before April 30 there will be a coupon for 10 free starter buckets of range balls as well as a $10.00 Mulligan’s Restaurant gift certificate. We look forward to your continued support. These coupons will be available on opening day May 15 for members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Memberships Still Available<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New members are welcome and memberships are available by calling the clubhouse at 826-2600 or by email to Kim at grandemeadows@nf.aibn.com<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership Fees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Members: $520.00 + HST<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youth Members $420.00 + HST<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Members $320.00 + HST<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Junior Golfers are eligible to pay their annual fees now and golf for the rest of the season as long as they are accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golf NL Rules Education\/Information Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golf NL through its Rules Director Jim Sloan and Facilitator Bruce Watson will be hosting a province wide Members Rules Education\/Information Session as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday May 19th, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. NST<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This session has been created for the average golfer to make him\/she aware of the general rules and etiquette of golf as well as provide a Q & A component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Memory<\/strong>
Just a little note to ask you to remember long time members of Grande Meadows whom we have lost in the past year, namely Don MacBeath, Jerry Adams and Kevin Carvery. Please think about them and keep their memories alive at the golf course. Rest in Peace, fellas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
