2025 Finale<\/strong> Report<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

34 golfers took to the course on an overcast morning for the Annual Men’s Night Finale Golf Event to bring an end to another very successful Men’s Night season. After a few showers at the beginning the sun came out and made for a great round of golf. 7 teams competed in 18 holes of golf – the first 9 holes were individual play with the second 9 holes best ball. At the end of the round the scores in both net and best ball were very close with all teams being very competitive as seen from the table below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the completion of the round a putting and chipping contest were held along with a steak or burger dinner followed by the presentation of awards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year since 2009 Men’s Night has presented a sportsmanship award to one of the players who epitomizes what Men’s Night is all about – coming out and enjoying the social and fun aspect of Men’s Night. Men’s Night renamed the award in 2010 in memory of Norm Croucher, a regular Men’s Night participant who passed away that year. This year’s recipient was Bob Brenton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the day Team 1 made up of Craig Hiscock, Lloyd Doucette, Mike Russell, Al Lewis and Barry Stacey finished 1st in Net Score with 188 while Team 5 consisting of Perry Stone, Ches Cribb, Richard Kelly, Roy Hillier and Dan Walsh won the Best Ball with a score of -7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Craig Hiscock won the putting contest and Dan Walsh came out on top on the chipping contest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Men’s Night committee made a special presentation to Barry Stacey for his efforts in helping out with Men’s Night throughout the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
