Barry Stacey captured the 2013 Grande Meadows Match Play championship on Sunday with a 2 & 1 win over Bob Hoyles. On Saturday Stacey got by Clayton Welsh in one semi-final by a score of 4 & 3 while Hoyles got by Bob Banfield in the other semi-final 1 up.
In earlier rounds Stacey defeated Matthew Hackett and Sam Warren 4 & 3 while Hoyles got by Walter Stapleton and John Bugden in the first two rounds.
Also on Sunday in the Consolation Final Matthew Hackett defeated Gerard Cooke 5 & 4. In Consolation Round semi-finals on Saturday Hackett got by Kevin Carvery 5 & 4 while Cooke got by Ray Warren 1 up.
