2014 Royal Lepage Adult Provincial Golf Championships

Day 2 Results July 5th

 

Matthew Tibbo of Blomidon shot a 74 on Saturday to take over the lead in the Men's Amateur with a 2 day total of 152 to lead by 2 shots over defending champion and brother Michael Tibbo who carded a second straight 77 for a 154 total.

 

Erin Lundrigan of Burin shot an 88 on Saturday for a 2 day total of 170 to lead the Ladies Amateur after Day 2 by 1 stroke over Kathleen Jean of Harmon Seaside Links in Stephenville who shot an 85 for a 2 day total of 171.

 

Matthew Hackett of Grande Meadows leads the Men's Mid-Amateur with a 2 day total of 156 with scores of 80 and 76 while Jeff Sharpe of Bally Haly is in 2nd with a 2 day total of 162 having carded scores of 80 and 82.

 

Chuck Conley of Bally Haly fired a second straight 77 for a 154 total to lead the Men's Mid-Masters by 4 strokes over Eddie Bearns of Bally Haly who carded his second straight 79 for a 158 total.

 

Wayne Ford of Blomidon leads the Men's Senior with a 2 day total of 156 having carded scores of 78 both Friday and Saturday. Bob Hoyles matched the low round of the day with a 74 to go along with an opening day 83 to remain 1 stroke back at 157. Tom Jones and Bob Skanes both of Gander Golf Club are tied for 3rd with 2 day totals of 158.

 

Shelley Keeping of Grande Meadows who fired an 80 to go along with an opening day 97 for a 177 total to lead the Ladies Mid-Amateur over Kim Stead of Glendenning who had a 2 day total of 194.

 

Kathleen Jean carded an 85 on Saturday to go along with an opening day 86 for a 171 total to lead the Ladies Mid-Masters and Ladies Senior over Janet Mills of Bally Haly who fired a second straight 90 for a 180 total .

 

Jan Peters of Bally Haly leads the Ladies Super Senior by 1 stroke over Judy Gillam of Humber Valley Resort. Peters had scores of 91 and 92 while Gillam carded scores of 89 and 95.

 

Walter Crotty of Bally Haly leads the Men's Super Senior by 7 strokes over Ray Stoodley of Bally Haly. Crotty had scores of 76 and 86 for a total of 162 while Stoodley carded scores of 84 and 85 for a 2 day total of 169.
