The Annual General Meeting of Grande Meadows was held on March 15, 2022 with 25 members in attendance.
Committee reports were given wherein it was noted that during the 2021 season there was an increase in both annual memberships and public green fees which led to a second straight year of coming out in the black.
Finance Chairperson Barry Stacey presented the 2022 budget for approval. Given that the Bylaws require that annual membership fees be increased by a minimum of previous year’s inflation rate the 2022 rates must increase by at least 3.71%. Members suggested that this Bylaw be reviewed prior to next season.
Elections for the Board of Directors for the 2022 season resulted in the election of Keith Howse, Clayton Welsh, Stan McCarthy, Frank Haskell, Denisine Nolan, Eric Ayers and Jeannette Lundrigan by acclamation. Perry Stone was elected by acclamation as Golf Captain for the 2022 season.
The Outgoing Board of Directors introduced Dave Yetman as the new General Manager of Grande Meadows and thanked both Bill Lee and Kim Grandy-Baker for their many years of service to Grande Meadows. It is hoped to have a formal get together to recognize them during 2022 season.
