Justin Cluett captured the 2010 Grande Meadows Men’s Golf Championship on Sunday. Cluett’s total of 158 lowered the old tournament record of 160 set 10 years ago by Bill Buffett and gave him his second Men’s Club Championship having first won in 2004. Cluett shot scores of 78 and 80 over the 2 days to win over Sam Warren by two strokes. Warren had daily scores of 82 and 78. Ray Walsh had scores of 81 both days for a two day total of 162 to finish third while day one co-leader Barry Stacey shot 85 to go along with 78 on Saturday to finish alone in fourth at 163.
Judy Drake won her third Ladies Golf Championship with scores of 97 and 105 for a two day total of 202 to win over Janie Smith who finished second with scores of 105 and 109 for a total of 214. Drake also won the Ladies Club Champoinship in 2001 and 2002. Anne Marie Ryan finished in third place with a two day total of 221 from scores of 108 and 113. Denisine Nolan finished 4th with daily scores of 120 and 109 for a 229 total.
Anne Marie Ryan won the Ladies Low Net with a score of 149.
Sam Warren won the Men’s A Division Low Gross with a score of 160 while Ray Walsh won the Men’s A Division Low Net with a score of 142.
Jim Farewell won the Men’s B Division Low Gross with a two day total of 178 while Jeremy Cribb won the Men’s B Division Low Net with a score of 143.
John Bugden won the Men’s C Division Low Gross of 184 while Wayne Taylor won the Men’s C Division Low Net with a score of 137.
