The 3rd Annual Fall Fest Couples Tournament was held at Grande Meadows on Saturday October 4 2014 with 23 couples teeing off under sunny skies. Fun, friendship and food were the themes of the day and from all indications a great day was had by all.
Using the Las Vegas scoring system the winners were declared as follows:
1st place Dominic and Rita Lundrigan
2nd place Bill and Louise Lee
3rd place Paul and Michelle Dober
All participants received a prize and in addition there were challenges on the course including closest to turkey, closest to vegetables, closest to pumpkin, longest putt, poker and chipping contest.
Much appreciation to the Grande Meadows staff who so eagerly assisted to ensure the success of this tournament.
Special congratulations go out to Jeannette and Vic Lundrigan as well as Marilyn and Stan McCarthy for a great job in putting together a very successful tournament for the third year in a row. Thanks to all who donated prizes and helped out to make the tournament a huge success.
