Men’s Night National Golf League Fundraiser
In Aid of First Tee Golf Program
4 Person Best Ball Tournament
14 teams comprised of 56 golfers teed it up in the Grande Meadows Men’s Night 4 Person Best Ball tournament to support 1st Tee Golf Program and Grande Meadows Junior Golf. It was a great day for golfing and there were some impressive scores even though there was a good breeze of wind.
When things are all settled away the big winners will be the 1st Tee Golf Program and the Grande Meadows Junior Golf Program which together will benefit to the tune of over $1,000.
At the conclusion of the round there was a prize presentation to the top 5 teams. 2 teams were tied for 1st place at 65 and the tie breaker was used to determine 1st place after which the team of Dave Bungay, Paul Hartson, Brad Russell and Sam Warren were declared the winners. In 2nd place was the team of Everett Farwell, Art Kavanagh, Alf Marshall and Matthew Marshall.
There was a tie for 3rd place with 2 teams coming in at 66. After the tie breaker the team consisting of Joe Drake, Ben Grandy, Frank Hodder and Glenn Price got 3rd place while the team of Morley Adams, George Brushett, Randell Evans and Charlie Loughlin finished in 4th place.
There was also a 2 way tie for 5th place with a score of 67. After the tie breaker the team of Zack Fewer, Jevon Kilfoy, Leo Kilfoy and Bob Norman claimed the spot.
A big thank you goes out to the Men’s Night Committee as well as some of our volunteers who helped in making the tournament a success. The Committee would also like to thank Greg Farrell and his outside staff as well as Kim Grandy-Baker and the inside staff for all their help in making the tournament a success. A shoutout goes to the Men’s Night Group, Amar Seafoods and Molson Brewery for their support of this event. Thank you to some of our own Grande Meadows members for their donations to the prize package.

- Conditions: Maximum of 1 player per team with 10 handicap or lower
- Each player must have a minimum of 3 tee shots
- Fee: $30.00 Registration For Members
- $50.00 Registration For Non-members which includes green fees
