RCGA Membership Information

The majority of our members who have the RCGA Membership have been inputting scores using the Hole by Hole method. This week I will provide some information here on how the stats can be looked at as well as interpreted.

Number or Rounds Entered to RCGA Site

The following table shows the number of rounds entered into the RCGA site by both ladies and men as well as the tees from which they were entered.

Hole Rating For This Season

The use of the hole by hole scoring by members gives us an idea of how difficult each hole is playing for the season. Each hole is now rated for the Ladies and Men on the GM Scorecard. This rating was done last year based partly on information obtained from past years data from members inputting their scores hole by hole. Below is a link to how the holes are ranked on the scorecard as well as how the holes are playing during the 2020 season for each tee.

Scorecard  Men's White/Blue Men's Red/Yellow  Ladies Red/Yellow

Raised Cup

This week's shoutout goes to defending Men's Club Champion and Invitational Champion Matthew Hackett of his superb round of 68 on Saturday June 13. While playing in a group with Paul Hartson, Perry Stone and Sam Warren, Matthew carded a 35 on the front 9 to go along with a 33 on the back for one of the finest rounds ever played at Grande Meadows. During this fabulous round Matthew hit 18 of 18 greens in regulation. Congratulations Matthew. By the way this round was played on what would have been Day 1 of the 2020 GM Invitational if Covid-19 hadn't happened.

All the best and stay safe.

Cheers

Barry
